I have a question about this example posted in the ‘Used an Array Method’ explanation: Shouldn’t the newArray be equal to [ ‘apples’ , ‘carrots’ ]?

I believe the numbering starts w/0 not 1, so your oranges are #0, apples #1 and so on. in your example, 1=apples & 3=bananas…

Array indexing starts at 0.

Exactly, which means it should go like this:

0 = ‘oranges’

**1 = ‘apples’**

2 = ‘bananas’

**3 = ‘carrots’**

4 = ‘milk’

Yes it will be [apples, carrots]
