Bingo explainer

That’s correct! I would take out the parentheses around 'bingo', so there is just return 'bingo', but what you have now also works.

Ben

Hey there, I think I’ve done everything I’m supposed to and it does give the output of ‘bingo’, but I’ve apparently still done something incorrectly, mind taking a look? Screen Shot 2019-12-07 at 2.01.34 AM

return ‘bingo’;

Should be in {} brackets

function card(num) {
if (num > 4) { return ‘bingo’; };}
console.log(num(5));

that worked, thanks!

Hi, I don’t know whether is a bug or not, but It seems I’m doing everything alright and an error " Missing ; before statement" appears, I really don’t know what else to do since, as I mentioned, I think it should work as it is.
I’m not able to upload a screenshot right now, But I can confirm you that all the steps have been done correctly already ( I confirmed with the other questions submitted)
This is the code I’m currently with:

function card(num) {
If(num>4) {
return ‘bingo’;
}
}
console.log(card(5));

Hey there, change If to if.

Oh ok, that was stupid, thanks a lot Ben!

Hey, no worries! Typos and capitalization issues are extremely common when programming. With a little practice you’ll get used to them, and be able to fix them on your own.

Good luck!
